24th January 2010 - Yesterday we had our first drop of rain for the year, a drop it was too. On a sad today, young Freckles will be saying good-bye as his owner is moving on elsewhere. i am sure all those that enjoyed is company would like to wish him the best and for many carrots to come. For those that do not know him, check out the pony rides section and he is the cream and brown spotted fella.
21st January 2010 - The other day one of our agistors asked if her horse could run with the herd, so we let some of the "safe" horses out and took some photos, if you go to the agistment section, i have uploaded some photos (not many), when i finally get the internet sorted properly I will add a photo page with other photos...we have a few so please come back for another look....
18th JAnuary 2010 - still no internet via the ISP because Westnet are determined to hold onto the line and cause me as much grief as possible - pretty shameful really, as i had been a loyal good paying customer for 5 years - it is funny that once a company gets to a certain level that the customers start to lose thir importance, in the face of the money....
It is pretty disappointing to think, if Westnet is the best as they claim to be, I wonder what the worst is like. So now after further lies I find that they may release the codes off my line on the 20th so that Telstra can install their codes....by the way all the lies and attitude is at my expense. On to other things, it looks like there is only a brief respite in the warm weather but at least the temperature is in the 3 range and not the 4 range. i suspect that the horses will appreciate the cooler weather with their layer of hair, a run under the sprinkler seems to do them good.
14th January 2010 - It seems that we are off the air for a bit longer than planned as Telstra continues to fumble the ball be yond all recogition, at least at the end of the day we no longer have to deal with Westnet's sticky fingers.
For anyone looking for rides it looks like we are going to be offering evening rides and lessons only until we get over the latest hot weather. We do have flood lights so arena work is quite fine and riding in the late evening is certainly interesting as the kangeroos come out for the night. (not to be confused with dangerous)
For those interested in agistment, due to the sun our grass is growing quite beautifully, as I can I am continuing to repair the old fencing ready for new horses the place is starting to smarten up, we currently have one paddock ready to go.
Recently we managed to secure a lease on 755 Gnangara Rd and will soon be offering public carpark access via this property which aleviate the need for visitors to open and close gates, I am still sorting out a pathway between the two properties and hope to have this ready for early next month so be on the look out for new signs.
7th January 2010 - Hi please be advised that we are currently transferring to a new ISP and our email may be out for a few days. If you do not get a response by early next week, or it is urgent please call the mobile number. Sorry for any inconvenience.
