TRAIL RIDES

PRICES: TRAIL RIDES…….$60/PERSON (RIDE DURATION - 60 MINUTES)MINIMUM AGE IS 8 YRS.


Please when calling or emailing it would help us arrange your booking if we have the rider's rough height and weight. This allows us to place you with the right horse. If the rider is under 18 a guardian will need to sign for them. With the introduction of EFTPOS facilities we now aim to request authority of payment of all rides and lessons. We will be asking for further details please check our terms and conditions.

We supply helmets and are required to be used for safety and insurance purposes. Also for summer we do supply a saddle bag for a 600mL bottle so please bring some water for your ride/lesson.

The rider should wear long trousers (Jeans can be fine), shoes preferably boots with a heel and smooth soled as possible (please check our page on safety), clothing to suit the weather and of course sunscreen and fly repellant.

Cameras are welcome, we are happy to help you arrange suitable images and will happily take the odd snap for you with your camera.

Trail Rides can be booked everyday of the week subject to our availability. We have a limited number of horse and so can not generally take out more than 3 riders at one time.We cater for children as young as 8 years and for people with no experience to those that do. We do however match the ride to the least capable rider. For those who have no experience at all, we can lead them out with a lead rope, with an escort walking beside them, and for children, this quite often will give parents some piece of mind.We generally do not combine strangers on trail rides so if you book us it will only be your group on the ride. Now that the summer months are here we are offering evening rides starting at 6PM. No rides will be offered if the temperature reaches 37.5 degrees and beyond.


If we are a little bit out your way, why not make a day, a weekend, or something more and visit the swan valley. The Swan valley Visitor centre can direct you to a number of sites, places to visit as well as accommodation.

PLEASE NOTE: If you can not make it let us know as soon as possible. If you are unsure whether you can take the ride please call and cancel so that we may book in someone else. It takes a lot of time and money to feed and look after horses, as well as a fair amount of work to get a horse ready for a ride. Just like hotels/motels, airlines etc we have to expect to get paid to keep the doors open.

PLEASE BEWARE THAT HORSES ARE A LIVING CREATURE AND AS SUCH CLIMBING ON THE BACK OF ONE AND/OR HANDLING ONE IS A RISK! HORSES DO NOT COME WITH AIR BAGS, ABS BRAKES OR VEHICLE STABILITY SO PLEASE HELP US TO HELP YOU BY BEING TRUTHFUL AT ALL TIMES ABOUT YOUR ABILITIES AND YOUR COMFORT ZONE. WE KNOW GOOD RIDERS FROM BAD AS THE GOOD ONES ARE CAUTIOUS!
